It does this, by continuously providing different content on a website or social media site, that relates to the business or product a website is promoting. When an interested person is looking for a specific product or service online, the first method they use is the search engine Google where they type in keywords related to what they are looking for. To achieve more traffic on a website, the SEO technique incorporates as much content about the specific product or service they have, so that Google will choose this as one of the first to highlight as a website. The more the keyword a person searches on Google shows up on the content of the website, the more likely that Google will promote this as one of the best websites to visit for the search a person makes.

Search Engine Optimisation is ideal for any business, as it will catapult their website to be the first choice for anyone inquiring or searching for information on Google. For example, if a person searcher plumbing at their local area, the initial keywords they use to search it the location they live in and the word ‘plumbing’. If SEO is used effectively, a business can consistently produce and post content that includes these keywords, in order for Google to choose their website as the most related one. SEO is the key to pulling in the most possible customers in a sea of thousands of Internet users.
